OVERVIEW:

With all the information available today, how do you practically combine old and new knowledge into action that can significantly impact your life positively. And not just your life but also have a great significant effect on other people’s lives.

You may have heard the old saying, “KNOWLEDGE IS POWER.” But my question is, do you really know how powerful knowledge can be when they are put into action? Do you know the realistic approach about how to put new knowledge into action?

To truly gain pride from learning something new, you must first try as much as possible to personalize it and adjust yourself to making sure you are in alignment with it.

Knowledge is powerful, but it can also be misleading when used wrongly,  if not applied in a way that the universe can align with it.

That is the reason why many of you have college degrees, masters and PHDs yet, cannot change or improve any aspect of humanity.

The human mind can be powerful when it absorbs the right information about life. But it can also be destructive when that same information is consumed with the wrong intention.

Sometimes, people get trapped and are oppressed when they receive wrong information about themselves.

Many people are imprisoned because of the information they consistently receive from the outside world.

I will never forget lying down on my bed in my room. It was tough, it rough and everything seemed hopeless. Yes, I had the idea, but what was missing is the right information about that idea. Most of the times you may have the idea about something and what you think is missing is the motivation, but it is not the motivation.

What is truly missing is the knowledge to be able to transform that idea into reality. Having all the greatest ideas in the world but lacking the knowledge to consciously put to bear all the knowledge into action.

Most people struggle to put knowledge into action because they lack the proper mindset and skill set that can totally transform their lives when this knowledge are put into action.

When you know how to put knowledge into action, your results and what you will achieve will dramatically change and begin to transform your life and your world and everything in it.

You will begin to feel more relevant and important to the world and the people that surround you.

Therefore, here are some four major ways that will help you move knowledge into action constantly for better results and success.

  1. Identify an area of your life you want to improve.

You cannot change something you are not engaged with. Apparently, if you are going to transform something, you must first engaged with that thing. Therefore, you can never change the world if you are not the change you want in the world. If you find no need to improve any aspect of your life, then you have nothing to change in the world. You must be fully equipped to be able to affect the things around you positively. If it is a daily habit of your life that needs to be improved, then you must make a daily commitment to improve it.

In this magical thing called life, nothing happens automatically not even divine grace. The reason why most people cannot change their life is simply because they think there is this thing called divine favor, so once it is their turn, they will make it.

The results you are holding today are because of the decision you made yesterday. so as the decision you will make today will determine the results you will get tomorrow. If you do not want your life, change it. if you do not want your education, change it. If the information you are getting today is not what you want for your life, change your source of information. If you have to tell the next person I can’t go with you anymore, so be it. Be committed to self-development and not self-distractions.

  1. Set goals for your life

To set goals for your life, you must first think about the results you want to achieve. Before making a goal for your life, take a closer look at what you want to achieve and ask yourself the following questions:

  1. Is it something I am passionate about?
  2. On a scale of 1-to-10, how far can I go to reach out to that goal. And finally
  3. Is it something I am willing to die for?

After taking time to go through all these major questions and you got no answers to them, please sit back, take time and go through all the four-court of the goal, and reconsider your decision.

If you are not passionate about your goal, then it is not a smart goal.

If you cannot deny your comfortability to allow yourself to play foolish for your goal to materialize, kindly reconsider your decision. Be willing to give up sleep for your goal to be realistic.

There is no easy way around it. You must be willing to die for your goal. No one will do that for you. Take full charge of your life. Be so much obsessed with your goal and do everything possible to make sure you reach out to your goal.

  1. Create a plan for your goal

Every goal must take the form of a plan, and every plan must be guided by time and season. There is no reason to have a Plan-B because of the destruction of Plan-A. In the process of planning out your goal, Determine What Needs to Happen to Reach Your Goals and give it your full attention during the execution of your plan.

Also, put your actions into schedule and commit yourself to beat your own records every day. Do not be scared to make mistakes. Doing something and getting it wrong is at least ten times more productive than doing nothing.

Fall down eight get up ten, and that is how you will succeed. How many times will your child try to walk and fall, and you will sound like, “Hey buddy, it is OK. You do not try that again. You will get hurt. It is the dream of every parent to see their getting up from the floor and begin to walk. If you cannot tell your child to stop trying to walk because he will get hurt, then having a Plan-B because of the destruction of Plan-A is the first failure.

  1. Plan execution

Now that you have a well-structured plan, the time is now to execute. You will need to take day-to-day conscious action towards achieving your goal.

Focus on doing one thing at a time. At least, do one thing each day that moves you a step closer to your goal. The key is consistency.

If it demands sacrificing your life to do that, so be it. Telling the next person, you cannot go with him anymore, so be it. If it demands eating healthier, so be it.

It could also involve changing your behavior and beliefs system and adopting a different perspective about life and how you see yourself.

You must be able to see yourself in five ten fifteen years’ time from today. Where you want to go and where you want to be. That will be counted on you for the rest of your life.

When you are able to do that, you do not waste time on meaningless things because your goals are clear so as your destination is determined.
